Project Description

Displaced women from Artsakh are currently facing a wide range of socio-economic challenges. A significant number of them have lost their permanent jobs, small businesses, or main sources of income. Many families have found themselves in new conditions of social vulnerability. In addition to material losses, numerous women have suffered the severe psychological consequences of war - including trauma, anxiety, and uncertainty about the future.

All of this calls for a systematic approach aimed at empowering women through vocational training, expanding employment opportunities, and providing psychological support.

The “International Accountancy Training Centre” Educational Fund, with financial assistance from VIVA Armenia, will deliver a 4-month training course for 30 displaced women from Artsakh who are seeking new qualifications to help them enter a new profession and secure well-paid jobs.

The training program will cover the following key subject areas:

  • Economic Law
  • Business Taxation
  • Accounting Framework
  • Key International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Accounting Software

The course will be delivered by highly qualified and experienced trainers from the IATC Educational Fund, ensuring a high standard of professional instruction and practical skills development.
